Manugy was founded in 2024 in Cologne as a spin-off from the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology (IPT) and the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Battery Cell Production (FFB). At the forefront of battery production research, we saw how cell manufacturing should actually be approached – and started building it. Today we develop highly modular, reconfigurable, and efficient production systems for next-generation battery cells. This race is still open and we're here to take the lead.
